He is better going forward than he started off which is encouraging but he’s not good enough to force 20 starts for us at the moment and because of his age (22) it really is coming to the sink or swim time . This is why I believe going there would be good for him and possibly good for us, he has to do it for the sake of his own development and career I think.
No he’s always been very good going forward, he’s well good enough to get more than twenty starts and if he got them he’d improve match by match.

When Kenny first came into the first team his crossing was pretty good. He was hitting them in from wide and before the 18 yard box. It seems that there's only Digne and out of the full backs who can drive to the dead ball line and whip in a cross with pace and height.

There's some poor coaching going on, because Coleman (never a great crosser) was better than he is now at crossing a few years back.

I remember a young Coleman playing against Spurs at Goodison near to the beginning of his time here and ripping them to shreds down the right, cross after cross after cross. Overlapping with Hibbert and ghosting past their defence over and over. Bloody brilliant game, he deservedly got man of the match, but Moyes dropped him soon after to concentrate on his defensive capabilities, possibly at the expense of some other aspects of his game.
Was a joy to watch the sheer, speed, enthusiasm and energy that day, the whole ground as one were up on our feet everytime the lad got the ball, (sigh).….. great days

He’s obviously not tho, if he was good enough to get 20 starts this season do you think he would leave on loan ? Do you think he himself would go? No... do you think Silva would sanction it ... no..

I think Kenny is a victim of us not getting Europa. He needs games but not ready to be first choice week in week out them extra games would have helped. Loaning him to Germany will get him extra games which is good but it may also expose flaws which may reduce his stock. We mifht be better off selling now and at least getting a decent price.

Just remember when Kenny came in to the team for his first patch of games we were awful we had a defence of Williams coco an out of form Keane it's hard enough for a kid to make an impression witch I think he did without having seasonal professionals hiding in games . Kenny will comeback a stronger better player good luck

'overlapping with HIBBERT' ?

Well he ran past him, I was bevying last night when I remembered this lollollol:drunk:

He was playing right back and Hibbert was centre back in that game Coleman had been on the bench and came on for Yobo which is why Hibbert switched to centre back so you were kind of right.

Sorry mate, thats a bit re-writting of history.

He was nowhere near ready, proved a good move and he come back better for it.
I dont agree that he wasn't ready to be honest. Not saying it wasnt a good move for him mind, but the level he was playing at at blackpool ge could defo play rb in the prem, he was insanely good for blackpool.
