you didn’t watch carefully. If you did, you’d realise Schalke central midfielder move to left/right full back slot and Kenny was push so high up that he disappeared from the screen. This happen every time they had possession. A very strange way to buildup. Defensively he was sound with numerous interception and block a goal bound shot in the second half.

Defensively he looked very good.

But nobody cares if modern fullbacks can defend, thats not their job.

judge him with an open mind. He is defensively better than Sidney while his attacking play can be improve without doubt.

His passing is very direct and straight, our wingers will benefit greatly during counter.
Schalke attacking play is so slow with poor winger and that is the reason you won’t see kenny at his best yet.

ATM we have one aging right back and a aging left back we need replacements not 2nd best....the other two Baines and Coleman have had their day but have been brilliant - Sidibe is not in their class, and is not the long term answer a young player needs a run in the team - eg DCL loads on here wanted to get rid ....
we need a suad too not just a first 11.... we have so much dead wood in the squad... on high wages atm... we need a chainsaw....

No open mind from me.

Ive made my mind up that hes not good enough and consider Sidney a much better option.

We will see if im right or not, mostly im not, but im ok with being wrong.
 

I would look to get Kenny out on loan to another prem team next season and buy Sidibe.

Have Coleman and Sidibe as the two RB next year and then JJK and Sidibe the year after

Delaying the deadwood cut out of sentimentality Im afraid Coleman is showing his lack of pace now .....Sidibe is the wrong side of 25 yrs old too...
