I wonder how Kenny views himself. Does he think he is too good for the Championship, for example? How much wages would he be after?

He has two years left on his contract.

Presumably he is on low wages

If no one wants to sign him then we may as well keep him for another year and see how he copes with more first team football with us after his loan spell in Germany.

Doesn’t mean we can’t still go and look for a new right back in the meantime especially if Dalot will only cost 10 mil.

We ain’t skint, you don’t hire Ancelotti and his team and potentially pay them 80mil in wages over the 4.5yrs if you’re skint
I think we're in a bit of a sell to buy situation. We still have so many players to offload before we can bring any more wages in. The virus has reduced our income and has made things very difficult for us this summer. We were probably already close to the edge in FFP terms but losing another big chunk of money could have a big impact.

We will see, but again Ancelotti has said we don’t need to sell to buy. Obviously he’s not saying we can spend a 100mil with out of loading players. We all know we need to sell players, but I still think we will have a debt on our spending this summer.

And hasn’t FFP Changed for this summer?

I think he's a good player with plenty of promise. He had off days but he had barely played at first team level and was Coleman's understudy. When he covered for him it was literally the first time he'd played regularly at this level and he looked alright. Since then, he's been highly successful on loan, has proven he can play week in week out at a good level and improve and he's only 23.

Give him a chance. We don't know what he can be until he has a full season here - I've seen enough of him to see promise. Right back is far from the priority position in my eyes this summer.

Especially when you hear we're being interested in Dalot. Rather just give Kenny a run than doing that.

End of the day, he's still at a competent level and overall wouldn't make or break the team progressing while the midfield is the car crash it is at the moment.

Kenny isn’t good enough to displace Coleman , so I wonder if it is in his own interests to sit on the bench here rather than play first team football for Schalke.

If we don't get any great offers, try him for a year competing with Coleman to see how he does.

If it doesn't work out, he knows where he stands. If I goes ok, then we have a back up right back position sorted for when Seamus goes.

That is you opinion .
CA speaks very highly of Seamus and we have no idea of his opinion of JJK.

I think I will wait and see what he decides.

He speaks highly of Seamus' attitude. He's not waxing lyrical about his ability; because he isn't very good.
