That would not leave us many players in the current first 11 - never mind the real deadbeats who we can't get rid of \Tosun niasse Bolasie etc etc....
so that post has no logic.....

Ahh i see mate, so not wanting to get rid of a rubbish right back who isn't even playing for us at the moment as he is on loan and wouldnt be able to get in the first 11 anyway because we already have 2 decent right backs and whilst comparing said right back to deadbeat strikers and midfielders is sound logic then.

Pmsl. lol

As @MarcelsGoat never stops reminding me, we need home grown players in the squad.

Kenny seems to play like a 'fan' and has captained youth sides in the past and of course had success with England youth. Hes surely a good person to have in the squad.

Sidibe simply cant defend as well as Kenny so if we stick with the back 4 reverting to a 3 hes actually a very good option to have as the right sided centre back OR the right full/wing back.

For me, even if hes a 6-6.5 / 10 player thats fine for a squad option who can cover 2 positions.

Id probably go:

Sidibe: Right mid / Right wing back
Kenny: Right back / Right wing back / right cb in a 3

Id be tempted to offload Coleman in the summer and bring in a starting right back...

Lot of assumptions being made regarding Kenny.

I doubt most of us have even watched him over there, I included, nobody really knows if hes any good at all.

From what ive seen Sidney is a vastly better player, so is Coleman.

But who knows, hes had regular games over in Germany so he might have improved, he certainly did very well in his first few games, but since then im not sure.

You have him playing CB here Zat, im gonna be honest I would be stunned if he could perform there at all, just cos Coleman has slotted in it doesnt mean its for everybody.

Personally I would be looking at signing Sidney, unless Brands can find something better, offensively hes very good, defensively a bit suspect, but we do have a World Class manager now, im not saying he will turn him into Maldini and his age makes it difficult, but I would hope for some improvement, 13m is nothing money for a player like Sidney.

Dont see any benefit from selling a player like Coleman, but I would probably be looking at another option at Right Back, but for me its pretty low on our list of needs.

Regarding Kenny, my gut feeling is he has very little future here, but what the hell do I know.

We need a whole new midfield, we need a Striking option to compliment DCL and Kean, we need some CBs, we also need a back up LB at the end of the season. A new RB and possibly a new Keeper will have to wait till Summer 2022.

Id say right sided centre back in a 3 or right back would suit Kenny...NOT as an immediate starter but in the squad would add a HG player and of course hes still young enough to improve + could be a good voice in the dressing room.

Sidibe for me isnt a right back due to his defensive lapses...hes a wing back which is fine for £13mil if we go for a diamond in the middle he'll come in handy.

Collyman isnt good enough to start if we want to be at least top 6...

Can we afford to keep all 3 and add in a starting RB...if so GREAT...if not then for me either Kenny goes on loan for another season or we sell Collyman...

Well out of the 3 only Coleman has "proven" himself able to perform in this league at a consistent level, pre-injury and of course in his "younger" days. So if its a choice of keeping any out of the 3 I would currently go with Coleman, plus a new RB, Sidney would be a very decent squad option, Kenny I cant judge realistically at this current time.

And neither can you really Zatmania, unless you have at least watched a few Shalallalakeke games?

I think this is fair.

As much as JJK seemed to have good attributes as a player he did seem to lack composure. Maybe his spell in Germany will have helped?

19 games, 1 goal, 2 assists and 3 yellows for the team 5th in the German top league isn’t bad at all.

I wouldn’t be keen to sell Seamus just yet, he’s played quite well recently and has slotted in at RB and right side of the 3. Don Carlo has also spoken very highly of Collyman and Baines and their influence. Carlo knows the value of having good senior pros around and I’d say he will speak to both accordingly.

Funny as anything reading he'snot good enough. I think he is out there proving he is good enough by playing regular in one of the top leagues. German league is a good level, nothing like the SPL. He's taking his chance and should have a long career here.

Some weird creatures in here.

He's a young lad! Defenders take time to develop. Baines was mid 20s before he came good.

He's on modest wages so it's not costing us a fortune whilst he develops.

He's gone on loan to a decent club in a good standard league and is playing every single week.

With people like Niasse, Martina, Keane, Schniderlin and Siggy all playing/making squads and on a wedge, Kenny is literally of no concern at all.

Coleman’s been quipete good lately, I think how Ancelotti like to switch from 4 to 5 with wing backs, I think there’s room for a Sidibe,Kenny and Colman here.

Sure there have been words that he is doing okay over there and some German clubs are looking at him.
