He's not going to sign for that though is he?

I can only think we've signed him with the hope of actually getting a fee for him from someone
He's crap quite frankly if he walks away from a year deal then whatever! You could be right though there could be a "home grown" asset factor here say we sign him and sell him next summer we make pure profit.

We currently have 1 left back on the books and a 33 year old right back who everyone insists is finished and a 21 year old who 5 managers have looked at and said he isn't ready. He's adequate cover given we aren't just skint we are practically bankrupt

Jesus Christ.

At least he’s only on 15k a week. Praying we haven’t actually offered him a wage increase.

…Nkounkou is a LB as is Mykolenko. We also have a very young LB playing for U23 who is genuinely better than Kenny.

I do think Lampard is influenced by ‘busy’ players rather than effective players.

in the short-term or in the long-term this is a worrying decision. I hope it’s not a romantic one influenced by Kenwright.

Unless there's about to be an announcement about Coleman retiring, I can't see for a single moment what the logic was here

And even then I'd have argued vehemently that this was a terrible idea

The only way I can possibly stomach this is if he gets sold straight away so we did it to make a profit.

How anyone at Everton can think he is good enough is baffling. We are being run by clowns.

Emergency backup for another year, as a homegrown player on cheaper wages and then sell him next Summer.

Would like to think we would be getting rid had we been more financially stable mind you.
