He played for the first team mate, a dream virtually every single Evertonian has had, and one that he achieved. He wasn't good enough, we knew it and ultimately he knew it. Let’s wish the lad luck and not be so churlish to one of our own eh? I wish him luck as should we all. We can save our vitriol for those who are not good enough, but have dug in like ticks and wont go until they have snatched every last penny from us.

At least he wanted to play football, he could have accepted the contract extension and sat on the bench, he had realised that he was never going to be a regular starter here and moved on. There are a few more who are at the club who could have done the same, I'm talking to you Cjenk. Neither Tosun nor Kenny were good enough, Kenny accepted it and moved on, Tosun, and several others, are happy to sit on the bench and talk cobblers about fighting for their place.

I wish Johnjo all the best for his future career, Tosun, not so much.
