Unfortunately there really isn't anyone who can step up.

We are massively short of anyone resembling a decent rb

Not sure why the constant shouts for Patterson as we haven’t seen him play RB at PL standard. Unknown and different yes, but unproven too. If he’d had a few bad games he might have been the next scapegoat. JJK might not be the best player we’ve ever had but at least he tries and he cares for the Club, unlike some others. And he doesn’t pick himself in the starting 11 either.
From here on in, whoever plays, we’ve got to get behind them or the negativity will drag us down.
