It says a lot about his options
I dunno though. Godfrey looked more than ok at left back for a chunk of last season. Mykolenko is a Ukrainian international left back. To think that Kenny - let's not forget who is terrible in his natural position of right back - is the best option we have is utterly laughable, at proven by his continued pitiful performances.

Godfrey did ok at left back considering he's not a left back. He wasn't particularly good at right back. Even if he's a better option than Kenny that removes him from centre back where, despite not being very good, his replacements there are poor too.

I'm not defending Kenny, he's a poor player, but most of our squad are poor players too.

I wouldnt surprise me if we play 3 at the back today and have Gordon and Mykolenko in wingback positions. Retain Braithwaite and reinstate Keane who is stilll better than Holgate. Allen back in the middle with Wobes and Doucoure although after his display on Wednesday I would be tempted to give Alli a start. Keep Richy and Dom up top but if Dom doesn’t cut it bring on Rondon. I’m not sure I want Coleman or Kenny back at this time

I hope Frank has finally realised playing this guy means starting, one one or two goals down. His positioning and ability is that bad. It's taken far , far too long, but his time here is done.

Always puts the effort in and he's a blue so it's sad to see the feeling against him. Wonder if he'll return to Schalke next season on a free? If not, could see him at a newly promoted side, or Burnley if they go down. Good luck to the lad.
