I don't wish to pile too much pressure onto the boy, but he's definitely going to be the face of Everton for the next 12-13 years, captain the team for a decade and also lead England to a minimum of two World Cup wins, culminating in around 40 billion pounds of earnings by the time he reaches 33.

Tbf any young player of quality is sold, with the understanding they can return when their career is over.

Always plays like he's on the school yard and has his mates watching him. Tries to be too flashy, takes too many touches, wants to do too much himself. Sure he'll score one or two decent goals, but I would bet my bottom dollar he'll never score more than 10 goals from free play in a season. Not much good for a top Premier League player really is it. If only we could have sold to Chelsea.

He’s already scored 10 from open play mate.

Has anyone ever seen Barkley put in a tackle, ever? I can't recall a winning tackle he's ever made.Just stands off and lets players pass him by.
Last season v WH, when Barkley was playing superbly, he started the play for his goal by making a tackle in our half. He then played a ball to Lukaku, ran to the back post and finished off a cross.
Ross Barkley was superb for a spell last season.

Back on topic, Kenny is looking good but I yearn for Coleman.

Don't worry, Steve and his ilk will just ignore that, and reminisce of naismith and Barry Horne, really football bravery is wanting the ball, Ross has that in spades

Real football bravery is getting the ball off the opposition when they have it. Barkley can't do that very well.

Barkley isn't a tackler. By pretty common consent, I would say. Mind you, currently he's not a footballer either.
Anyone can tackle granted to differing levels of effectiveness. However my point is relative to your ridiculous comment was that real football bravery is getting the ball off the opposition.

Its not it’s taking possession of the ball under pressure when your team mates don’t want the ball. I’d suggest you take a little time out to read up on pep’s thoughts on footbal bravery or do you prefer pulis and the gang

No. It isnt. Footballers who demand the ball are the brave ones. Tackling is a basic requirement.

Nar your both wrong, heading the ball when it's falling from 900ft in the air like Dave Watson on a cold winter in Goodison in the 90s was brave
