People will have their own opinion on the manager and how he deals with staff, media and players.

Last night we had Kenny, Holgate, Davies, Vlasic and DCL in the starting eleven and Lookman came on as sub.
I think by any standards that is giving youth a chance.
I think he expects a high standard from these youngsters and is determined to make them into better players.
In general I think that is happening.

it was the league cup though, even chelsea give youth a chance in that.

Yeah, I wouldn't disagree with that but we know what's coming at 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon.

Liked the look of Vlasic, always looking to go forward with the ball, tidy on the ball, quick too. Everything we're lacking really.

This is what is coming on Saturday:

"OK, great team performance and OK, they played well, BUT ok we have to play 3 central defensive midfielders, and ok, 2 No.10s and some slower players, and then we have to show more productivity on the ball, but ok that's football. The young boys they played well it was a good finish, but they are just young boys they have to learn. Wayne will be back."

Needs to be given a run now until Coleman is back, while we've got a relatively kind run of fixtures. If he doesn't play now he never will.

I doubt very much he'll be starting regularly, but, now we've got that nightmare run of fixtures out of the way, I would expect him to be more involved with the first team squad.

If he'd been thrown in at the deep end against the likes of Chelsea, Spurs, city and United and struggled then it could have knocked his confidence a bit ( I can imagine half of GOT writing him off as being crap if he had struggled ) so I can see why he hadn't figured until Wednesday.

If Keane is injured, we will surely see him play more games.
