Just disrespectful

No one will EVER come close to the job Sean has done for us at right back, shame on you

Nonsense, Sean is getting older and coming back from a terrible injury. Oveido never really got back from his. Sean has yet to really get into training and get fit, plus to see if that bravery to get stuck in is still there.

All players get on and are supplanted by younger, eager ones coming through exactly as Sean was at Kenny's age.

Well we look solid at right back now with Coleman and Kenny, that's one less position to worry about in Jan/summer. Need 2 new centre backs and a left back though, all bought with the intention of being starters, not back up.

One to start with.

Keane is a good player. Let's not right him off.

Keane and 'another' going forward as our two starters. It's vital the person we do bring in has a bit of pace, though.

Holgate also did his chances no harm last night.

I rate Keane highly, but you need 4 or 5 very good centre backs to be competing in the top half/deal with injuries etc.

For me, that means Keane, Holgate, 2 new lads, and if I'm being charitable Funes Mori. Jags and Williams are done after this season.

! With regrds left back, we must have someone in the U23's who can come in?
It’s symptomatic of the bizzarre decisions that have been made that of the players who have played left back at U23s in recent years 3 are out on loan , Galloway, Connolly, Robinson; one can’t be registered to play PL until January, Garbutt; one is 19 and requires further development, Matty Foulds; the final one Lewis Gibson is 17 , highly promising, physically well built and one for the future or maybe pitching in to the final Europa game but would be a gamble.

In short , while we were busy accumulating No 10s and right back cover for Seamus we were neglecting cover for Baines . I think Jonjoe could do the LB job on a limited basis as cover for Baines. While predominately right footed , like most of our youngsters he’s been trained to use his left , but would really be cutting back inside to cross with his right. Come January the LB cover should be sorted by having Garbutt registered and bringing back either Galloway or Connolly, leaving Kenny to continue to develop at right back and push Seamus for a place.

Shaky start to his 1st team career but it's great to see Jonjoe settling in and finding some of the form he's shown regularly at lower levels. First saw him playing as a centre-half when he was 17 and he stood out even then. My only doubt was that he could go the way of someone like Steve Seargeant - not tall enough for centre-half, not quick enough for full-back. No-one will work harder than him to make it for the Blues.

Was nothing wrong with it at all. Martina was in acres of space, took a touch then played it directly to their player for no reason at all. Flawless from Jonjoe tonight.

Was excellent but still think he shouldnt have crossed the ball to martinia. He knows cuco is a rubbish baller and that is asking for trouble. Ball into the box from there. Kenny was excellent going forward and defensively. Best he has played no doubt.
