If he's a squad player then I understand swapping him at 27 for Distin at 37 (and Alcaraz) but £8m is expensive for a back up.

Don't mind the deal to much, not arsed what he will cost. More important things to worry about, all I do know is we need an experienced premier ship player to help jags and stone. Not worth getting young players as we have our own young defenders to train.

Seems to have a bit of a problem with his ankle now and again (not even sure if its the same one or not) otherwise its just the normal knocks you'd expect.
Nothing like as bad as I was expecting as an injury record.
