He has injury problems but if we can get through most of the season with either two of Jags, Stones and Evans on the pitch, I think we'll be alright. Most of our worst performances came when we played Distin and Alcaraz.

He has one year left on his United wages, it's unlikely anybody will match them, one more year on 70k or 4 years on say 45k, rotating with 2 other players rather than 5 at United, don't think they would have a problem with that.

Just can't see it I'm afraid. Wages are going to go up, not down for him.

When the likes of Sako from Wolves is about to sign a 50K per week contract with Leicester. A multiple premier league winner will accept less wages than him.

We have to lower our expectation. As far as I can remember, Martinez never bought any good defenders throughout his career. This is something we must get used to if he is to remain in our club.
