All the summer transfer window confirms to me is that most of our fans are big pink wobbly sausages.

Looks like it's not happening now but Evans would have been a good signing. Better than Distin & Alcaraz were last season.

If we get a CB with Prem experience this window then we will be a stronger squad than when we finished last season.

I rate him that lowly. I think his inclusion in the United side after the Ferdinand/Vidic partnership sent them into meltdown from back to front.

Stand by everything I said - knowing we're not signing him makes me as happy as signing Deulofeu did.

Mate, no one player is responsible for a club the size of man utds meltdown.
as I said, I think you're better than that and I often agree with you on points in here.

Suarez at Liverpool?

Certain positions are keystone elements of teams - United had built such a solid defence that they could attack at will.

Look at us last season because we didn't have players performing in the role they had to play in the system - like Lukaku and Barry. We fell apart despite little change in personnel.

I honestly believe Evans came a regular at United and a deterioration in how the played commence, as you suddenly didn't have that rock solid base. Like what happened with us when Alcaraz replaced Stones in Europe, but over the longer term.

this thread should be kept in the archives as a reminder to us all what can happen in the close season and with internet rumours,I wonder who actually started it, come on lids,who dun it,had to be one of ours !!!?.
