Anyone giving Pickford grief needs to bail immediately, has been our best player over two seasons. Makes one mistake, try and support your players for a change.

He made a massive mistake in the dying seconds of a derby game after we had played really well, he deserves the criticism that he is getting.

Even then, the fact that VVD somehow manages to slice a ball and for it just to happen to fall right onto the bar (which it did) is mental.

Thing is, Pickford leaves it and it goes over. He commits and gets it all wrong.

Honestly I've already forgiven him, we'd have been in the heart of the relegation scrap last year if it wasn't for him and he's going to save us so many points this season. He'll be the most gutted person of anyone, he doesn't deserve any more piling on and these "drop him" shouters can check themselves into Ashworth.

I hope he gets a massive cheer on Wednesday, he loves and gets the club and will play a massive part in any success we achieve in the coming times. Mistakes happen and it was an utter freak, hardly a regular occurence where you just knew he was going to let us down.
