2018/19 Jordan Pickford

Pickford made two excellent saves in the first half. Kept it at 0-0. Also did well to close the angle on Redmond.

He could have done better for the OG. However, it's a fluke that came about because we left the quickest player on the pitch loads of room to run into.

Still bashing Pickford in here I see

When will people learn he’s the best available keeper for a club like us. We aren’t going to get someone of de gea’s ilk

The only other keeper I’d consider having is possibly lafont.

If anyone is trying to make the case for starting Stekelenburg against Millwall i will be open to arranging a duel against you to prove how wrong you are.
I dont think Stekelenburg starting any cup game will happen thankfully as v Lincoln game would have been the best chance of it happening,,Thankfully silva kept and hopefully keeps pickford as the keeper for cup game

I’d take a lesser skilled keeper than deal with this over enflated ego we call Pickford.

So a keeper who would be more likely to concede goals would be your preference?

At a time when we struggle to score our own goals I’d suggest that’s not wise

Yea i would take a lesser skilled keeper.

One that would be part of a team not one that literally rips into players for his own mistakes.

Sooner or later we have to play together and his displays on the pitch constantly moaning and blaming everyone around him takes a toll.

So again I would take a lesser skilled keeper that would like to be a part of team instead of this clown.

Aside from the derby error. What are his other mistakes that are solely his fault?

The zouma one was both of them. Either they both shouted or no one did

The pass he made to Keane the other week against Bournemouth- Keane was flat footed if he wasn’t or slightly quicker he’d have anticipated that’s the pass Pickford would make.

Any others?

Very few errors in football are solely one players fault, but if the same player is involved in numerous errors it may tend to suggest that they are the problem.
