This is the hypocrisy of the premierleague. We approach Watford for their manager willing to pay a very reasonable compensation fee and we get reported for tapping up.

Easier for them to go for Butland I would have thought.....especially if we set a ridiculously high price tag.
If I were a betting man I would put money on Courtois signing a big new shinny contract if he doesn’t they will sign Butland for £30 million ish. There is no way Butland will want to play in the Championship and none of the supposed big six, the ones that willow indeed could pay £30 million plus for a keeper ,need a new number 1
