Thats all that will happen,be told of his responsibilities etc,but very silly to get involved, what happened if he got attacked by more people, and punched, knocked out, broken jaw anything.
That's all the club will do. Sometimes the police decide to make an issue in these things though and we need to be wary of that.

The important thing is that he learns from this. Because of the local rivalry he will be a hate figure to many in the North East. This was probably akin to Steven Gerrard going for a night out in Concert square on a Saturday night.

Not a big fan of him being as drunk as he seemed to be. Players can have a few drinks when off duty but I’d rather they didn’t get leathered and he seemed like he’d had plenty in a couple of those videos. Should know better really, I was no angel as a kid but by 25 I think I’d grown out of scrapping with people who just wound me up. If he got hit first it’s a bit different but reacting to somebody goading would be very embarrassing.

But thats not the point.
His hands are his trade....what if those punches had connected...if his hand was damaged or he damaged someone.(.as it stands he committed an assault)
THe point im trying to make is that this will happen again in the same circumstances but the outcome may not be.
He will be a target now for any [Poor language removed] because they know he can be wound up ( its all over twitter and the back of newspapers).

Footy players must get abuse every time they go on a night out, alcohol and idiots and all that, hes entitled to a social life he just needs to learn that the bar where Jeremy Kyle goes scouting is best avoided now he's rich and famous and Maybe go to the more up market ones for a drink, its the price of fame but if it keeps you away from the cretins who want their 5 minutes of fame then it's a price worth paying

He doesn't help himself though by being a bellend when we play them.

Yeah I agree, but the world has changed since big dunc.

Men can't be men anymore. It's toxic. We should be meek and mild and humourless while awaiting the gender reassignment that Radio 4 would want us all to have.

Unlike big dunc where the law was used, now the yabbering masses of social Media will judge him and swing the axe.
No-one's going to cut your cock off, don't worry. But sorry that I don't want a violent man who'd beat me up. My mum and grandma went through that. I don't want to end up like them. I didn't realise that being a violent psycho was the only way to be a man.

Do you go round punching people as well?

Hes a bit of a tit really but would imagine most blokes would be if they had millions in the bank and were in their early 20s and worshipped like most football players are. Hes a product of the society we are in and it's all wrong. Play well in the next game and all will be forgiven. Again all wrong.

I once annoyed Graham Stuart at a do.
We were all chatting and I didn't realise his Mrs was his Mrs.
I then told him he was punching above his weight with her.
She thought it was funny, he didn't.

How hard is it to not punch someone when you’re earning tens of thousands a week ? Very hard for some apparently.

He’s an unlikeable chap but can live with that if he cuts out the errors. His biggest crime is still using the phrase “get your rave on”.

Just another quality pugilist between the sticks.

No doubt he will save a penalty at the weekend to keep it at 4-4 before Richarlison (playing as pele with a broken arm) scores with an overhead kick, before they flee, underneath the Emirates via an elaborate tunnel under the dressing room.

Victoire, victoire, victoire.

I’ve seen it all before.

I can forgive him for the scrap but if he is 200 odd miles away from where he is supposed to be playing that is me done.
