I think he’s under the spotlight a bit more this season because of the World Cup. Needs to just calm it down a bit and stick to doing the simple things and not try to pull off these Hollywood saves all the time.
Still a good keeper and I’m sure he’ll continue to grow as the season progresses.
I do wish he’d stop launching the ball forward, usually ending up out of play, all the time, though!

Aside from the Ings challenge, he hasn’t looked great in the first couple of games. Hopefully he’s just easing into things after a long summer and hasn’t got full-on Tim Howard post-WC syndrome...
I wouldn’t mate. He hasn’t gone to slice his shirt on purpose has he. His follow through has caught him. End of the day he has kicked the ball if he hadn’t then it’s different.

It's in his body language. How =else would you describe someone trying to do a Schumacher?
..capable of outstanding saves but also capable of errors. The lad is young, but younger keepers are becoming more common. The best largely go unnoticed because errors are rare, he just needs to get that very high level of consistency.
