Pickford needs to improve on commanding his six yard box....

Judgement & assessing on 121's......

Saving to his weaker left hand side....

Remaining calm & not going into panic mode when under pressure....

I think this quote from an article best sums up Pickford
“Pickford owned the Premier League’s worst save percentage through matchweek 15 and ranked 15th out of 24 in goals prevented above average. Pickford hasn’t suddenly turned into a world-beater under Ancelotti, but he’s performed just about at the level of an average Premier League goalkeeper. Pickford in his current form isn’t going to win many games for Everton, but he’s not going to cost them many games, either.”

Improve your defence and you improve your goalkeeper.
I’m not quite sure how you’ve read that article and come to the conclusion you’ve come to? It basically says he’s improved to a level where he’s ‘just about’ average. Great, give him a new contract.

We should sign Pedro Gallese, the Peru goalkeeper. He is used to playing at a very high level. :p He is also 1.89 metres tall. That sounds a hell of a height to me, (not really understanding metric I can't be sure. he may be a dwarf). Apologies to any dwarfs on this forum, no offence intended.

Not only did he just sign in MLS, he just signed for a very bad MLS team. I live in Perú and love the guy, but he is absolutely not Premier League level.

Funny aside: He was just caught a couple months back leaving a hotel with a woman who wasn't his wife. The crazy part about it is that it's a really well-known hotel for those kinds of purposes that's on a very high-traffic road (which in the past year has had more traffic than normal because of a construction detour). If you've ever visited Lima and the driver took the beach route either to or from the airport, you've gone past this hotel.
It's called Hotel Wimbledon. And for that reason, he has a new nickname in Perú right now (he was always known as "El Pulpo" - The Octopus): Campeón de Wimbledon.
Pretty sure he took the MLS spot on a bad team in an attempt to win back his wife, because "But the kids can live by Disneyworld if you come with me" carries more weight here than you'd think.

Shot stopper no doubt but his bread and butter game needs upping.
Not that i care in the slightest but fans of other clubs think he's a bit of a liability and afraid to say a bit of a joke. When the general assessment of other fans is good you know you have a bit of a player at least.
Some of the comments in this thread about clubs wanting him are deluded.
Interesting this summer to really see what ancelotti makes of this position.

Ancelotti said: "I read that I'm looking for a goalkeeper, this is not true.
"I have a great goalkeeper, who is the goalkeeper of the national team."

He's not going to dirty his goalkeeper in public is he. I wouldnt read anything into that. Any more under his body shambles like yest and what ancelotti says to the media and what he actualy thinks will be two different things.

But hes not doing that every week.

If he was it would be a concern.
