What I notice about other keepers is they seem more composed - particularly Pope

Why would Henderson want to come to a club lower than his own team? A move down in the world from a probable European qualifier is hardly ambitious? Try finding a keeper in the Championship, there might be some decent ones there, maybe as backup.

What gets me is that there is a world of GKs out there and most top flight ones around Europe's biggest leagues are better than Pickford, but there's been many on here who scream "but who would we replace him with?".

I'd stick Stekelenburg in goal until the summer and then bin him and Pickford and get two 2 GKs in.
 

It's funny really, I wouldn't say he was at fault for any of the goals against Arsenal but I just never think he'll make a save anymore.

Thankfully it is CA that is picking the team Dave.

I think if you had your way by now we would have RM telling us what a Fantastic talented group of players we have and that we would to challenge strongly for promotion next season but we are too far behind to challenge this season.

You think we're fortunate to have Pickford?
 
I could see him going on loan to Serie A and reinventing himself a bit like Smalling. Nobody over here is going to take him, certainly not for anything more than £15-£20m.

All the top Italian sides have better, young goalkeepers, much like the top Prem sides and top Spanish sides. But he could go to somewhere like Napoli, Valencia, Sevilla or possibly even Wolfsburg or Schalke where #1 GK positions may open up and thrive in a different league, different environment.

You've replaced the entire squad twice over by now, surely... There has to be some consistency.
 

Not awful but needs competition, one thing the club has been woeful at is getting competitive back ups, it’s what ruined Tim Howard’s final couple of seasons and it’s highlighting Pickford’s faults because no one can seemingly be trusted to step in for a couple of games
