The set up of his wall and his positioning for the Mahrez free kick was bizarre, and his walkabout near the end was stupid - he should have stuck it in the Bullens - I have been a big defender of his performances but I am starting to question his intelligence after a succession of poor decisions.

But, hes a winner and knows all about a winning mentality.

A character or 2 like Neville in our dressing room would be a massive tonic.

Probably saved us more points than lost since he has been here.
Deffo at fault for the second goal though. Was on his side of the goal and you would be expecting any keeper to get a hand on that and tip it round the post.

He can be great, we have seen him be great, he can be having a blinder during a game but moments like the free kick today, just before it was taken I had a feeling it will go in and I reckon many of us thought the same.

I do not understand how a poor coach/manager can be a good analyst.

Football is not really that hard though. I mean it's a pretty basic game to comment on. Lets face it most pundits are judged on how they deliver their opinions rather than the opinions themselves.

He can be great, we have seen him be great, he can be having a blinder during a game but moments like the free kick today, just before it was taken I had a feeling it will go in and I reckon many of us thought the same.

I’ve just said in the match thread he should be saving that I play in goal on a Sunday so standard is crap but if I didn’t save a free kick on my side I would get slaughtered. I think he needs some time on the bench to make him buck his ideas up

There are always going to be instances were a goalie makes a mistake and doesn't save an easy shot. Even all time greats do that. It's keeping them to a minimum and Pickford seems to do a fair few of them.

I don't know if benching him would be the answer though. As I said earlier though our back up goalie isn't bad at all. I think a lot of people forget we even have him.

I don't think he is purposely making these mistakes though! I just think he has it in his game regardless of anything else squad wise.

He has no presence for me. Always a big thing i feel for a keeper. You gota make the opposition feel like they are going to have to work to beat this keeper. He hasnt got that.
