It depends on how you rate atrocious.

Atrocious howler on a regular basis, arguable.

Atrocious in conceding an awful lot of savable shots, yes.

Atrocious in giving confidence to the rest of the defence, yes.

Atrocious maturity when dealing with criticism, yes.

I see.

24-year-old Jordan Pickford "picked up a hat-trick of gongs at Everton’s end of season awards evening, The Dixies.

The 24-year-old was named Young Player, Players’ Player and fans Player of the season at the awards dinner at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Tuesday evening"

But 25-year-old Jordan Pickford is 'atrocious'.

Fans expect and demand loyalty, but can be so fickle.

Bet he dropped them.

To be fair, we were pointing out Pickford's failings on here for a long time before the mainstream football media started noticing it.

They have only picked up on it recently.

We all knew as far back as December 2018.

Hi mate.

Here is you, in 2018, in the player of the season thread, saying Jordan Pickford was our player of the season.

I suppose it has to be Pickford from that list.

You even voted for him.

He won it at 24.

He's now 25.

Not that long ago, really.

Sure, he's not been great this season. But he's not a disgrace, atrocious, *insert any other overly dramatic description here*

And he certainly doesn't deserve smug, obnoxious pundits laughing at him being described as England's number one.

Outstanding vault here tbf. He got you dead to rights Khal

But I reckon I could have got down to the Fernandes shot yesterday.

Slow motion replays did him no favours.

Had some power and dip that shot, should have saved it but not a howler.

If that's scored against Tim Howard, he's not slaughtered for it.

The increased scrutiny comes with being English and England's number one which is to be expected.

But let's not let it fester - there's no way in my opinion replacing him is the priority people are saying.

We need a RB, CB, LM, CM, CM, RM and even another forward being we need a 'keeper.

I don't really rate Pickford (though I'm sure there's some sort of historical comment that says otherwise), but there are plenty of other places on the field that need attention first

Heres you in 2019 intimating that you think Pickford is one of the best Goalies around.

Pickford is the best keeper in Europe.
