@davek has suggested there are 62 better keepers across Europe so naming a few realistic transfer rumours shouldn't be difficult.

People think signing a world class keeper is somehow different to signing any world class player and is attainable. It’s not.

We paid top Dollar for a fair few players around Pickford coming in, and look were that has got us.

To me and okay I go back a fair bit, he will never be a Gordon West, Neville Southall, Andy Rankin, or Nigel Martyn.

Some people think worldclass keepers are ten a penny and can be bought from any club across Europe. I'd imagine most keepers have put in a transfer request to force a move to Everton.

Don’t think anyone’s really asking for a world class keeper, tbh there’s only about 3 of them in the world now. But a good steady keeper who’s not an absolute clusterfuck like baby hart would be an improvement. As Dave says, if you offered the majority of the teams in this league to swap their first choice with ours then most of them would tell us to jog on.

pretty much every unobjective metric you can use to rate a keeper has Pickford as one of the worst performers in the league since he’s been here
 

A worldclass (whatever that is) keeper would be nice, and for me, Pickford is nowhere near being that. Had to laugh at Roy Keane’s “I don’t care if he’s England’s no.1, he’s not a good goalkeeper” comments. However, give me a solid keeper who does all the basics really well but can’t pull off the odd miracle save every time. But, as has been said zillions of times on here, we have much, much bigger problems in the squad to sort out first.

I just think he gets away with making some great saves and ones he is expected to save

Take Southall and Martyn they were solid, done the basics, commanded the 18yd box
And made great saves
That’s why they were looked upon as quality
This fella is a poor imitation
 

A blinder behind closed doors and no television? We would never know for sure what we never saw. (Not good English that sorry). The pubs would lose loads of customers with a blackout of football.
 
I feel the lad needs to concentrate more on the basics. Once you get the basics of pretty much anything in life sorted, you have a good foundation to work from. Unfortunately for me, although I do think he is a good keeper, Jordan Pickford lets himself down with his showy 'look at me' attitude, and also his 'I'm not to blame for anything' stance he appears to have when he makes a mistake.
