When's this guard of honour supposed to take place?
I don't see how a guy sat on the bench is going to improve Pickford's performance. How many goals do you think Pickford has let in this season because he knows he's not going to get dropped? Is Pickford's lack of concentraction due him standing between the sticks singing "I'm undroppable tra la la la la"?
Have you never heard of competition for places? Oh dear, Oh dear.

He's THE weakest link IMO.

Only 5 other teams in this league have conceded more goals than he has.

He is almost guaranteed to make a massive mistake every game. That has to undermine the defence.
Disagree here mate. RB and midfield are far more shaky position wise. Gomes and Bernard are the only decent mids we have. Coleman is getting on and Sidibe is rubbish.

Do you think he should have kept their first goal out?
I think it would have been an absolutely incredible almost unbelievable save if he had.
Mount took the shot really quickly giving very little time for the goalkeeper. It was hit with power and went totally into the corner.
I think the defenders have more questions to answer than the goalkeeper.

Well done, Jordan. Just the 4 conceded. Here's your MOTM award.

WTF have we become?

Giving him the MOTM award is the old adage “damning with faint praise” personified.

He was at fault for the opening goal, beaten from outside the box (again) for the third goal and if he had any idea how to command his area the fourth would not have occurred.

It is crackers that people are voting him MOM for “keeping the score down” :hayee:

Not for me,but wont stop the odd few mostly here probably saying it,to add to the other so called shots he should save that he has no chance with,
plus the excellent saves he makes that none of the haters like to give him credit for,to go with the mistakes which every keeper makes. he did keep the score down no matter what some like to say in there hate of him

Made some great saves yesterday he should of got to the first imo but apart from that cant blame him.It may help if the 4 defenders in front of him done their job.
Back 4 was a shambles, digne has gone missing this season, holgate struggled for once, sidibe was sidibe (awful at defending) and Keane was outclassed by better players There's only so much a gk can do with a leaky defence and there's only so much pressure a defence can soak up with a invisible back four
I just don't think that shot at the near post is saveable. What I would say though is Pickford sees everything in front of him and he should be telling Keane to move off his bloody 6 yard box and go and press the player.

I don't think he organises the defence well at all, doesn't paint a picture for them of what's around them enough

Keane absolutely crap though so I probably wouldn't want to chat to him either.

I'm a Pickford fan and it has been hard to watch this season, he's not doing the simple things alot of the time which should come natural but he does then redeem himself with the class saves. I think we've seen him perform brilliantly prior to this season and that's where
He's a clown and needs to be punted.

This business of saying he was 'the best player for us' was what was said when he was letting in scores of goals at Sunderland.

We're not Sunderland.
We played like Sunderland! Pickford played well

Defo MOM on Sunday. 8/10 from me.
He was the best of a very bad bunch, but he has been up and down this season but not as much as some make out on here,he like other keepers surprise other keepers do make mistakes has made them. then pulled off great saves, -said it before think we will only get a number 2 to give him some comp

Keep at it Picky. The match going fans still support you. As far as I recall, Gordon West was the last keeper to be wrecked by booing fans in Gladys St., maybe there were others. That fate should not befall our Picky.
