Im not excusing other things he does, I just feel as tho people are overreacting a little to him laughing.

If it was an occasional thing he did, I'd be less bothered. However, it's his go to reaction to making a mistake and I've yet to see evidence that this helps him recover his composure in games. It comes across like this is all a big laugh to him.

It's a bigger laugh that he's been picked for England for so long and an absolute shame no one at the club couldn't see how the offer from Chelsea was unbelievably good (name your price) and an excellent opportunity to make a profit on someone who's talent just didn't match his reputation. We could have walked away with £50m plus for him. We'll be stuck with him for yrs and if we're lucky someone might loan him off us. But for that to happen someone at the club has to recognise we need a first choice keeper.

It was better I agree , looking more like luckier atm though. We go around in circles with him though. He's just not as good as he thinks. Average.

Now I appreciate that this may be a nervous reaction and indicative of a deeper issue, but, he really must be told that it is not a good thing to let the fans see when he is making as many mistakes as he is.

I don’t know if the boy is ill, or just a tosser, or both, but, he really needs to be taken out of the firing line for a while. Give Virginia a few games until the end of the season and then get a solid pro in who can challenge Pickford, or better yet, sell him, if we can get a buyer.

Hes a top class keeper but something seems to have destroyed him. Whether thats something at home or he hasnt got the mentality. Whatever it is he seems an absolute calamity.

I wouldnt say hes top class. Hasnt kept a clean sheet away from home in 17 games and in 10 or 11 of them conceded 2 or more.

He has got way to big for his boots and needs knocking down a few pegs because what started off like wow we've got a proper keeper on our hands has turned for most of the fans into hate for the lad. He's made the same mistake a few times already since the restart where the ball goes through his legs. He gets paid millions of pounds a year for that. I dont even do that on a sunday and I'm cack in goal

What i mean is that he is top class in terms of ability.

It may be arrogance like you suggest or the opposite but he needs to see a psychologist...so do most of our squad though.
