What i mean is that he is top class in terms of ability.

It may be arrogance like you suggest or the opposite but he needs to see a psychologist...so do most of our squad though.

i‘ve accepted he’s a ‘modern day keeper’ and I much prefer a traditional custodian, but regardless of that I don’t think Pickford is very good. He’s most definitely not top class.

He had a Pickford game today. Made a couple of great saves, a couple of decent ones, beaten at the near post for a goal, made a silly mistake and then had an odd reaction to the mistake. Thats him all over. I think Everton are a tough crowd to play in front of when thats what you do though. We tend to focus on the mistake, not the positive.

I also if the tongue out thing is just a nervous reaction on his part?

Personally I think he’s doing it to take the piss out of us. He’ll be aware he’s getting slated week in week out, he’s doing it to wind the fans up deliberately.

Don't think I've ever met a single footy fan of any club that would enjoy him laughing at his mistakes.

I just mean the whole package really. I think at some clubs, if you save 4 and let in 3, they focus more on the 4 great saves. I always got the sense Sunderland fans were a bit more like that.

As much as we get carried away with saying who's going to get the bullet in the summer, I really do believe that Ancelotti will send this fella packing.

The quotes about 'professionalism' were encouraging, as there's no way that Ancelotti could be satisfied with what he's seeing from an international goalkeeper.
