Lets hope we bring in Gabriel, a right back and Allan to give Pickford more protection.

With a strong defence in front of him he may get back on track. Theres been alot of top sides who had keepers like Pickford ihe past and masked his faults through having solid defences.

Hopefully its one step back and 2 steps forward.

Cant see him going anywhere yet.

its pickford that makes the defence worse with his erratic behaviour, be similar to playing in front of a 7 yr old child that's just drank 5 tins of cola and had a bucket of sweets!

I agree to an extent, but by dropping him and taking the same stance as city did with hart, we'd be running the risk of having him on the bench and paying his wages until his contract expires. At this moment in time, he is still potentially a valuable asset. He clearly has the ability, but we just need someone to reel his ego in and concentrate on improving his deficiencies. Unless we can find a buyer now...
Has he though? Other than the odd decent reflex save he’s shown nothing other than him being a little short armed gimp who’s a really poor keeper

interesting comment everton1953 ... how long have you supported Everton ?
First game Swansea Town in 1953 and going to home games ever since, until now that is. The covid virus has probably ended my attendance at Goodison unless there is a miracle vaccine. I am joining the many armchair fans on this site but am not looking forward to trying to form opinions based on screened games. It ain't the same in my opinion. Having said that, two friends have been watching the RS on TV for the past 3 years due to domestic issues and it does not seem to bother them that much.

One of my favorite moments from that knob.

Id take Pickford reacting like that over his childish behaviour any day. At least theres some intensity there, not just swinging arms, goofy smiles after mistakes and missed passes. Both are terrible keepers, but at least Hart doesnt act like he thinks screwing up and losing points is funny.
