I hope he goes soon but he will be sorely missed by his detractors on here. Another target will be urgently required. we are spoilt for choice.

If that game finished 2-0 to the Blues I was at that game, the Allchurch brothers, Ivor and Len where in the Swansea team.First game Swansea Town in 1953 and going to home games ever since, until now that is. The covid virus has probably ended my attendance at Goodison unless there is a miracle vaccine. I am joining the many armchair fans on this site but am not looking forward to trying to form opinions based on screened games. It ain't the same in my opinion. Having said that, two friends have been watching the RS on TV for the past 3 years due to domestic issues and it does not seem to bother them that much.

Hmm, when asked who won I always say it was 0-0 and Clinton missed a penalty. Spring 1953 the season before we were promoted. Don't tell me I got it wrong otherwise I will have to change my story. If that game finished 2-0 to the Blues I was at that game, the Allchurch brothers, Ivor and Len where in the Swansea team.

Used to be Swansea Town, but later changed their name to City. Also, maybe I'm being ignorant here as I wasnt around in the 50s.....but as far as I'm aware there is no Swansea Town is there? Its Swansea City
Well Everton were in the second division for three seasons, so hold on to your story, I’m not sure which season Everton beat them 2-0. However Tommy Clinton did miss a penalty in the spring of 1953, in the semi final of the FA cup versus Bolton, absolutely nothing to do with the Swansea game, just an old man rambling.Hmm, when asked who won I always say it was 0-0 and Clinton missed a penalty.
