I suspect it’s a factor in why Mina was making blocks like he was in the second half although I’d be happy if defenders were like that more often.
The elephant in the room is that Pickford has been at best inconsistent for a long period now, and I think that’s being lenient; he’s made far too many mistakes.
I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt for a long time and even his most avid supporters look to have turned on him, so it’s difficult to see how it can be saved.
Bargain? I’d go out and pay £100m if prime Nev was available.

It's a big call for Carlo; if he gets a "back-ip" keeper it's telling everyone that he has concerns about Pickford, if he get's a first choice keeper then Pickford is finished if he doesn't get anyone then he's banking on Pickford's form picking up.
I think we've left it quite late for any incoming keeper not to be seen as a replacement/strong challenger to Pickford.
Given the limited time to the window closing I think we may need to prepare ourselves to see Pickford in goal for some time yet.

If it wasn't for us scoring a billion goals there'd definitely be more of a media clamour for us to get rid.
I agree with all the start apart from that bit. It’s not a big call because he’d be fully justified to have concerns without even considering competition.
For me, the Everton board not acting in some way is the riskier call.

I think we may be agreeing; Carlo should have a suitable back-up provided before the start of the season (by the board). Pickford's form has been a concern ever since the Origi derby

Sure we do but we also need to get the best one possible instead of settling for some journeyman or career back up who will need replacing in the near future too.
