Look how far he ran off his line to try and collect the ball only for him to wimp out, The penalty isn't the issue, It's soft as its what Pickford attempts to do.
It’s very hard to defend the lad at the moment. I’d like to still have hope he’ll improve, but I just can’t see how. He’s perpetually rash, and perpetually nervous.

....surely not rating a footballer doesn’t mean you hate him.
Pickford might be a really nice lad but it doesn’t detract from the fact that he’s not a very good goalkeeper. The latter must be obvious to most by now.

Compared to some of this season’s issues he had for us, that was pretty mild on his part tonight. He was partly culpable for the pen but not worthy of the deserved criticism he has received in an Everton shirt this season.
Harry Maguire however, after his last few performances and his antics in Greece, he will be justifiably and mercilessly filleted in the media. Ridiculous pair of yellow cards. Beginning to look like Ashley Williams both in performance and girth.
