This isn't even about football! It's literally just being able to look at things and realize what is actual proof of something and what isn't. A club selling a player is not proof of his ability good or bad.

Sorry FB - he has caused another goal and cost his country the game tonight. There are very very few world footballers that are not a better option than him at the elite level of the game anymore. He is broken & needs taking out. If he starts Saturday, we have the weaker keeper which is awful to consider

This game on Saturday is the absolute last thing he wants, trust me. Wouldn’t surprise me if he got himself a little tweak in training these next couple of days, he’ll be absolutely flapping it.

I didn't say it was, but his poor stats, history of clangers and his club willing to boot him out on loan on deadline day is hardly the same as pursuing a player with a proven track record is it
