Thought he was more composed today in general. I mean I don't think he's turned the corner yet or anything like that but only a few things to do tonight and he did them, fair enough.

Need like 5 of those in a row though really.

Hes been very good since the derby. Even in the chaos of the derby, he made 2 or 3 wonder saves.

I'm not a fan of his, but hes been very good. He was head and shoulders above Ramsdale today. I also saw that Henderson make a horrendous error midweek running under the ball. If that is tbe competition, its little wo der he remains Englands number 1.

Derby is definitely too far back for me. Saints and Burnley both limited saves to make and not made them. Chelsea was a clean sheet by good fortune more than goalkeeping ability. Standards were very low and a small improvement is still short of enough.

Pope is the best keeper for me right now. I'm not sure how he's head and shoulders above Ramsdale who we barely tested on the day and on the season I'd say they're a similar level. Same with Henderson but Henderson was well better last season when he played regularly.

Goalkeeping is about consistency and Pickford being consistently not good for so long means it is going to take more than a two or three game run for me to say he's fixed. Not to mention imo he's not even on that.

Did you see Ramsdale today?

That save just before HT was great, scoring right before the break would have been so massive for them. In conditions as awful as tonight I was worried we'd see another clanger, though honestly I was shocked they didn't through more balls in the box to test him.

It's another clean sheet and his confidence should be high again now so hopefully it leads to more level-headed performances. Slowly coming back into form.

He wasn't very good. Pickford has, on the whole of this season, been similar.

Look I'm not using a one game sample for anything with Pickford at this point. He did his job today and I'm glad.

I’m not going to get into an analysis of Pickford because I’m not his biggest fan but to say he’s been similar to Ramsdale is incredibly harsh. Ramsdale is the worst keeper I’ve seen in the prem for ages.

I’ll never feel secure with him in goal, but it looks as though bringing Olsen in has got him to raise his game. At the end of last season he was dropping balls into his net. He’s not doing that now and is starting to make some big saves again.

I've said numerous times, I've never been a massive fan, even in his 1st season. I just thought he was the best of a bad bunch. However his form that season was far better than what had followed.

I lost all faith with him after that Newcastle game, the 3-2. However you have to try and be open minded with players, and accept the possibility they can improve/mature.

The last 6 or 7 games hes ben very good. I think the Olsen signing has worked too, as has how Ancelotti has used Olsen, a game every now and then to keep him on his toes. He looks focussed now, is body language is much better.

I'd say people have to try to judge him fairly on what's seen. Just because I say hea doing well currently doesnt mean I'm agreeing with what went before he did, or saying hes the long term option beyond that. However each week that goes by where he does ok, he will regain more confidence. Thata fine, it might actually make him sellable if nothing else.

As I said last night, Henderson and Ramsdale are little different when I see them. So some perspective is needed.

His form really did dip. But there’s no doubt he is playing much better right now.
