I think keeping him at No1 has become an impossible job for Carlo. It would be mismanagement to have him between the sticks next season. He simply has a mistake or two in him every single game.

My mate saw him when he was out on loan. Apparently he is abysmal , and got displaced when playing in the Championship. Not even good enough for that level.

The only way to get Pickford moved on is to drop him from the starting line up permanently. He wont want to waste time sitting on the bench if it means losing his England starting place.

I heard the natural history museum in London is looking to put together a bid for him in the summer. Seems the visitors at the museum thought the current T-REX didn't look right as it's arms seemed too long, so they think pickford would look like a more realistic representation of a t-rex with his notably shorter arms.

It was interesting to hear the opinion of a female pundit a couple of weeks back who stated that Pickford is fine making instinctive reflex saves, but falls short when he has to set himself.

She explained that in the latter, his adrenaline kicks in affecting his judgement and reflexes, which would make sense when you consider the frequent twitching, shouting and giggling that accompanies much of his play.

I’ve said it before, but I think the boy has issues and would be surprised if the Club Health Professionals haven’t picked up on this as I’m sure he could be helped to address any underlying issues, which perhaps would go some way to improving his game?

On this note, was interesting too to listen to the pre-match interview with John Stones who continues to benefit from the services of a Sports Psychologist.
