He was written off by the majority of blues but hes a really good keeper that was out of form. He had no competition for us or England for a good length of time but now hes much sharper for a period out of the team for both club and country, he needed it.

He was comfortably bottom 3 keeper for multiple seasons, that’s why his recent form must be treated with caution, baby hart lurks within

loads of keepers seem to punch these days, very rare to see keepers try and catch everything, possibly the way gk coaching has changed

True, I get it when the ball's coming in fast as modern balls are light and slippery but when a looping cross comes in I just don't understand punching. It often leads to another attack from the opposition, whereas if you catch it your team is in possession and you can build your own attack. Plus, a keeper cleaning out a bunch of players whilst claiming a high ball is a glorious sight!
