People have to live in the past dont they lol, yes an error but sad that people keep on going on about that, he's made excellent saves in the following Derby's just for the record that saved us, and people need to move on from that Error really-He's an excellent keeper for me who makes super saves with mistake's like every keeper-No keeper is ever perfect

We can all highlight errors esepcially when under the microscope like footabllers are but im guessing the likes of Schmeichel etc and the Greatest Keeper ever Big Nev never made any eh!!

It's mad really isn't it, that the penny just seemed to drop with him. There's a lot of animosity towards Ancelotti, but one lasting legacy could be that he sorted Pickford out.
You do a lot of maturing through your 20's (as someone who recently went through theirs) and becoming a father is a big deal for him. It's probably stopped him going out partying and wanting to be 1 of the lads. That's been good for him. For me he was our best player in the 2nd half of the season.
Regarding England, I had this chat a few weeks ago at cricket (our cricket team has fans from a variety of teams) but I said I don't think he's ever had a bad game for England. I can't think of one. So while the press are trying to make it out to be a big issue, I can completely see why for Southgate it is a no brainer.
He is Maturing as a keeper, he is young and will make mistakes, I have no recent bias, i called him out on his errors like everyone but the lad is still learning his trade, he is YOUNG for a keeper and he will get better so yeah lets sell him like!!
Shame that "football experts" on forums like "us" and yes i include myself in that category, cant see what qualified managers and scouts see when buying and picking teams eh!!!
