My lad genuinely wants to kill Dixon and he has never even seen him play, just his derision of Pickford is enough!

Media is full of people who have become pseudo kopites because their jobs depend on bigging them up 24/7. The likes of Dixon Jenas Sutton may as well be fully paid up members of RAWK the way they go on about Liverpool. The kopites didn’t like Pickford because he was an Everton player getting too much attention at the last World Cup, ‘why are they not talking about Jordan Henderson who should be the England captain’, but when he felled Van Dijk they’ve gone absolutely nuclear and they just can’t stand him getting even the slightest positive comment now, they hate him, and the likes of Dixon have just got swept up in all of that.

As a few have said Dixon was a disgrace last night, didn’t even try to hide his dislike of Pickford and for what? If you’re an England fan you should love Pickford - he’s never let England down!
Hope England get drawn Holland at some point in the tournament so the media can mention Pickford being the reason Van Dyke isn’t playing a million more times…

He was terrible in the first half of the season, I genuinely wanted him gone like probably most others.

His distribution has been excellent for England, because he has players who will make space and want to receive the ball. Everton has a bunch of cowards who hide from receiving the ball from a throw-in. Pickford doesn't get to demonstrate one of this main strengths because our players let him down, which is an ongoing issue for our better players.

I hope our next manager utilises Pickford's distribution: teams might be more wary of pressing higher up the pitch if our keeper can suddenly put the ball at the feet of our forwards with one pass.
