Yann Sommer.
He played really well every time I have seen him play.
Pickford is a good keeper when he is on form, not a great keeper and prone to mistakes that get to him.
I think he get unfair stick at times, but if you honestly asked me as an Everton fan going forward would Iike a more steady player in goal despite his upturn in form ,
I would still say yes.
Until we get one will support him.

Lets see him goalkeeping at a high level over a longer period for Everton against PL teams before we go all crazy about him. This has happened before. Looking great against national sides, then stinking the league out with tons of mistakes.
I mean, he's been pretty faultless for like 4 months now. But of course the amount of time is irrelevant for people who are literally looking for the inevitable mistake that ALL goalkeepers make.

Seen a few say the Kane comments myself, not been anywhere near as good this comp as he could be to me, but its his goals that will be as ever what he's counted on-he was awful the 1st 2/3 games and if his name was not kane and the so called best England striker, he surely wouldnt have played the next game etc and would have been subbed earlier than he was/is
He was just excellent last night

It coincided with him working with a sports psychologist. He has been consistently excellent and calm for half a season.

I had doubts about him, but he is now performing like the keeper we all hoped he'd be.

Tbh i thought lee dixon was ok tonight. Possibly got wind of all the unfair stick he's previously been giving him.
But yeah. He's one error from being the villian and it wont take much.
This morning on Talk Sport they were trying their best to get Seaman to hang the free kick on him. He wouldn't bite, but didn't absolve him of all blame either.

I think it was the Anfield mistake that killed him off, no coincidence that he was our POTS the first season and that happens and his form falls off a cliff.

I also think the way Pickford thinks, rightly or wrongly, is that once a mistake is made he needs to make up for it. With that Anfield one being literally the last kick of the game, he had no chance to redeem himself there. That would defo weigh heavily on him, and that need for redemption is what makes him rash and overly eager.

The most recent Derby has book ended that period of bad form for me, I genuinely think he exorcised those demons with that performance. And he's been excellent ever since

"Out of this world"? I feel you're being a bit generous there, mate. Thought that Kane started to grow into the game as it went on and ended doing pretty well, but didn't think he did anything outstanding. That's just my opinion of course.
First half maybe not, but second half onwards he carries the ball and bought free kicks which relieved any pressure brilliantly.
Most sources a citing him motm or second behind sterling or Walker
