Maybe he was on an extended bad run of form that’s now passed.

I cant see him being consistent.

I accept he's a fine GK under the right circumstances: internationals bring his focus about (apart from thr two glaring errors in the QF and SF).

A sale would be rational. It could get us much needed spending money this summer window.

Well consistency is key. If he keeps it up, great. If not, and he’s ‘England’s Pickford’ then I’d agree.

But I reckon he’ll mature here and come good. I hope so.

His England form bears no relation to his form at Everton, which has been outrageously bad in long spells...just consult his dedicated threads for the last few years on here.

Why look back when its clear he's done off the pitch stuff to sort out his rush of blood stuff on it.
As of now the pickford of then and the pickford of now are two very different keepers.
I never thought id be saying that a year ago. I posted on here at the turn of the year i thought they were slipping something in his tea because more or less overnight he just looked so much calmer.
We then found out about the off pitch stuff.
Everton have a decent keeper now.
Nothing to see here.

60m for any keeper is insane money and most clubs would take it.

If offered that amount then definitely entertain the offer, however I can't think off the top of my head of any clubs:
1 - That can offer that amount
2 - That require a keeper fot that amount.

I have 5 years of evidence to prove me right. You have speculation.

You can end up believing a lot of very wrong things on those grounds.

The most obvious one I can think of, off the top of my head, is that the Buddha will always be a wealthy Tory douchebag as opposed to the founder of a major world religion.

I could go on, but I think the existence proof is sufficient to suggest that we have to judge Pickford on the basis of evidence in the context of others' actions, rather than simply relying on the heuristic that past behavior absolutely predicts future behavior.

Yes, but we aren't going to receive an offer for £60M for him, for the same reason nobody is going to offer £40M for him.

Sell him, and get who exactly? He’s a top keeper and it will cost to replace him

Well, he is bang average for Everton, but if a club comes in and hands Everton £60M we can use that to add outfield quality and buy a replacement.

He'll have terrible form for Everton again. You know it. Why dny it when you have 5 years worth of evidence to draw on?
