Hopefully the criticism from Carlo at the end of last season and the constant calls for him to be replaced as Englands number one has sunk into his head. When he's not being a massive bellend he's a decent keeper

I don't care too much about his long ball distribution..........I expect the majority to go astray but you only need 1 or 2 successful ones. Rather him try that than just the old fashioned drop kick for all and sundry to challenge for.

Thought he had a very good game yesterday; a couple of decent saves plus punched the ball away a couple of times too. It got me thinking did he punch the ball as much last season - is this something he's been working on that he can use to be a bit more dominant in the box and relieve some pressure? Of course it could have been a one-off.

They were two marvelous saves yesterday, top class. There is no doubt about his ability. It's his head he needs to get right, and his problem is that top level sport is generally played in the head. They've all got ability at the top level of any sport, but the greats have the smarts to go with it, the temperament, the craft - and that's the difference maker.

Goalkeeping is, essentially, an individual sport. You are the man apart and - speaking as a former amateur goalkeeper myself - it's played as much against yourself as the opposition. It's a psychological position as much as physical. In that sense, it's similar to, say, snooker. All the pros can clear a table, but only the best can do it against the odds or find other ways to win. John Higgins and Mark Selby are classic cases in point. You might be able to out-pot them, but they'll set traps and introduce you to the top cushion on a regular basis as they find ways to strangle you simply because they've got the brains to go with the skill.

A little bit of that bloody-minded professionalism from Jordan would make him a world beater. More Terry Griffiths, less Alex Higgins, please, Jordan.

Agreed, I’d rather a few go out of play as long as he’s not putting us under if it gives us the chance to counter attack. There was one second half where if Richarlison had taken a slightly better touch down the left hand side he was basically one on one with Lloris

Yes remember that one. Reckon he is going more for the flanks because if it goes out then the team can adjust and move up the pitch.

I still think real competition needs to be brought in. He had moments last year as well. What we can't have is him going on a run of poor form with no alternative again.

He's always been an excellent shot-stopper. When he sucks it's because he mismanages the position, fails to command the box, and acts immaturely.

None of that yesterday. He was decisive. A leader on the pitch.

He's got to feel that Carlo isn't going to put up with antics, neither are the new players we've added. Allan would rip him a new one right in front of the Glwadys during the game if he tried to pout or laugh or sulk.
