Pickford is a strange one to work out

I can’t question his instinctive shot stopping, it is his greatest attribute

My moan is over positioning and not being commanding in and around his immediate area.

So I guess for me it makes him a good keeper, but nowhere near a great keeper

As someone said on another forum: this feller is a liability against Newcastle.

He's a clown anyway at the best of times but I cant ever remember him playing in a reasonable fashion against that lot.

He better park that pathetic, small time Tyne-Wear rivalry tomorrow night or he'll plunge us into the bottomn three.

This game will be a definitive moment in Pickford's development. Now is the time for maturity - not provincial pitched warfare with Jimmy Five-Bellies and co.

Those Geordies will target him and he'll implode like the daft-as-a-brush man-child he is.

And that should give us our definitive judgement of him as an Everton player. If he cannot control himself in our biggest game in 16 years, then it's time to start planning his sale. Tomorrow and subsequent games will answer all questions about this gang of useless overrated chancers.

He'd be one of the first out the door if we were relegated. He probably sees that as an incentive in dropping the price tag so he can move to an elite club.

I saw something that suggested we are looking to replace him with Neto from Barca, another Moshiri transfer which annoyed me so i didn't read the whole thing

Harsh that, he’s not been a clown for sometime imo but I do always fear the geordies could get to him and cause him to act a tit
Poor mistake against Spurs for the second aside he’s been easily our most consistently good player this season for me, probably with Gordon and Gray behind

He wont just get targetted by Geordies, there will be a lot behind both goals on his back too, tomorrow is going to be hell for him, he has to stand tall and ignore the whoppers from both sides

He has had MOTM games in games we lost, thats how bad we have been, in fact i cant think of any game when he has been the sole reason we lost
