I find it difficult to believe Southgate will drop Pickford for Pope before the WC (no matter how much the media want him to). Pickford is one of Southgate's favourites and is important to how he wants his team to play. Pope was an absolute mess the last time he started for England.
So did Pickford when we purchased him - so what are you going on about ?
