Yes absolutely no profit from selling him if he wants to go then good luck to him, if he’s happy to stay then we shouldn’t even be mentioning selling him not one of the best in the world but as far as premier league keepers go he’s been up there with most consistent and you know what you’re getting with him and plenty more years left in him. Can’t be bothered bringing in another keeper to maybe maybe not settle in potentially be good average or crap when we’ve got a solid reliable keeper who’s proven he can win us points that have saved us 2 years in a row. He literally bottom of the list for positions that need replacing if we got offered £100m then you would have to be serious and say goodbye but anything not close to that then keep, probably saved us a couple of hundred million the last 2 seasons.

Indeed. We aren't exactly swimming in great goalkeepers battling for a place. The cautionary tale is that Leicester sold Schmeichel and their defense went off a cliff. When you consider the calibre of some of their attacking players, it was the defense that sent them down and the understudy GK clearly wasn't up to the job.

Definitely was it ward early on in the season for them? I remember early on in the season thinking wow schmeichel is a massive miss and quite possibly the GK spot has cost them a draw and possible win here and there might of been the difference for them.

Signed a 5 year contract. Has a relegation release clause 100%. Anything other than that I am highly doubtful. Even Everton and the clowns in charge know how valuable England’s top goalkeeper is.
Hopefully utd prioritise other areas, can't see him wanting to leave for spurs. He's not a London simp, no champs league footy, no trophies and now managed by alf stewart

Not just Schmeichel going from Leicester but also Leeds had that young French keeper who cost them a fair few points. Case in point was our win v them at Goodison with Coleman's wonder strike. Good goal but absolutely naive keeping that cost Leeds 3pts.
We need to keep Pickford.

I dunno. I wouldn't be surprised if the deal was all on his terms just so we could keep him and would let him go if he wanted without hassle.

Personally rate Mesiler highly. 116 games he's played at 23. 90% of them in the premiership.

Fair enough. I know a few on here do as well. Tbh I'm far from convinced. I thought he was at fault for far too many of their goals. When BFS came in the first thing he did was drop him for Robles.
