At the same time - I think Pickford likes here cause he’s in a comfortable position where he’ll always be England no 1 without fuckups. More scrutiny at big clubs may not be worthwhile
He definitely seems to be happy and settled at Everton and probably won't pout if he doesn't go but at the same time, doubling his salary, playing Champions League and he probably wouldn't even have to move house, I doubt we'd be forcing him out the door if we accept a deal.

Lets have it right
Pickford wants to lead us out at BMD as captain and I think he will
He loves the club

His England spot is secure and he knows he's massively important to us i.e. we were down without him

He wants to be an Everton legend and IMO he will be

A player costs what he is worth to the selling club when under a long contract that Pickford happily signed
The prices I'm seeing quoted are nowhere near enough

He's at least as important as Declan Rice to us and is easily as good in his relative position

120mil or swivel

you do
when he's a keeper that earns you more points than any other player in the team
But that in itself is a bad situation because it should be your forwards earning you the points. Ultimately in our position if we could trade a 50m keeper for a 20m keeper and a 30m forward then the number of extra goals conceded from the downgrade in the GK department should be more than compensated for by the extra goals up front, if we get the recruitment right. That's the magic if though.

If United are willing to bid 45m then they'll probably increase their bid a bit more as well

I dont want to lose Pickford but we probably can't turn down 50m for a keeper.
Turning down 45m would be shocking. Hell turning down 30m would be bad. If these are the types of numbers in play he should be sold to the highest bid we can get.

Detached from reality honestly
