Carragher calling Martinez out for Calvert Lewins header yet we’ve conceded one of them every game this season pretty much.

He's not great at commanding his box, granted. You'd expect Keane to show some semblance of being a defender before it got to him like.

Yeah Branthwaite heads it away, same as a couple vs Bournemouth but your keeper shouldn’t be relying on that.
Ask yourself, do we score that same goal against Martinez?
Mcneil threw one into the mixer near the end and he was about 15 yards off his line collecting it.
Pickford has undoubtedly kept us up a couple of times but he’s started very badly this season.

Ask yourself though, in what world is Martinez playing for us? He's one of the best keepers in the world. We're bottom of the Premier league and have been fighting relegation for years. Pickford is one player in our side of about 3 better than our standing in the table.

Never said that, he’s just 6’5 and he probably claims that or punches it behind.
Not asking for the worlds best goalie. Jordan has been brilliant for years for us but there’s no doubting teams are targeting the back post now, especially with no Branthwaite (Mykolenko struggles tucking in as well).

Look I agree at where they could be targeting us, but to be honest at the moment you can just run straight at the centre of our defence and Keane will part it like Moses for the opposition centre forward. I genuinely believe Pickford's poor start to the season is due to Keane in front of him filling him with zero confidence.
No chance with any of those goals today. He is a good keeper but feel his weak spot is being exploited now. Crosses, when Martinez collected a cross in the dying embers of the game beyond the pen spot I wished we had a keeper like him.

But it’s consistent targeting now and Pickford needs to take some accountability as well. If you’re no good at coming for crosses you need to be more proactive. Glued to your line isn’t the answer.
He needs to get off his line and start taking responsibility. He is allowing efforts at his goal from far too close.

If these were all Kevin De Bruyne hell balls then fair enough but they’re just chucked into an area mostly.
He’s looking a tad podgy mate, I wonder if that’s the reason he’s slow coming off his line…
