Funny how in most of the articles about the 8-second time wasting rule, articles point out that Sels has been booked twice for time wasting, Sa has been booked once and Steele averaged holding onto the ball for 14.8 seconds, yet they all use a picture of Jordan flopped onto the ball to illustrate it…

Maybe we`re not talking about the same thing. It was a nothing ball a keeper should have caught, but instead he panicked at the last minute and dropped it straight to Origi`s feet and goal. It was a nothing ball until Pickford dropped it onto Origi`s toe.

Yep, that was a massive error. Thought the ball was going out, then, I guess, the ball came down quicker than he thought and because he was letting it go out there was a panic and it unfortunately bounced straight in front of goal.

There is not a single keeper out there that can say they have not made a massive howler at some point in their career. It is part of the game, like there is not a striker who has not missed a sitter (or at least what they would call a howler or sitter).

Apart from that period where his head went he has been exceptional for us. He has shown a big maturity in knowing that he needed psychological health as he obviously had some issues there.

I can really see him staying at Everton for the rest of his career.
