That save from Pickford was as good a save as Iv seen in a long long time. Wouldn't have mattered as the ref blew for a foul but it was a top drawer stop
Was right behind that. Possibly the best save I’ve ever seen in person. Everyone around me was totally amazed by it.
Ya it was Southallesque. Barely a mention of it on tv

Had resigned myself to seeing the net bulge when he smacked the ball. To see Pickford get a hand to it and make the save was unbelievable.
More so after a pretty crazy start to the game where he looked at sixes and sevens, to the extent I'd been expecting a serious mistake or two in the game!
