The blame game for goals in football is madness. We dissect every goal we concede as 'who can we blame for that one' where's when we score a goal, its never down to opposition mistakes, only ever down to a 'great finish or pass'

No, he’s not dropped a clanger, I get that, but at the same time, can’t help but feel that it was still saveable, but put himself in position he couldn’t do so, because he gambled on it going to the other side, despite it not being his side. He’s not the first that’s done it and won’t be the last.

Aside from all that, it shouldn’t have been a free kick in the first place

I remember Brian Clough saying many years ago, that signing Peter Shilton was worth 20 points a season, well imo, Pickford is in the same bracket. He does does make some brilliant saves but its the points that he gains is the most important thing.
He' s a great goalkeeper and long may it continue

Not only will he probably win player of the year again he never misses a game and has never ducked the challenge despite the pressure on him. He’s also stayed ridiculously loyal when he could have moved elsewhere. I think we will go down as one of the greats for keeping us up. Love the bloke tbh.

Oh and he’s England number one and will be for some time.

Just off the top of my head, Keane was the main one at fault for Richie’s goal, and tarks should be winning a header vs macallister every day of the week.

Second in most clean sheets in the PL, so he must be doing something right.
