A decent shot stopper, the problem being he palms that shot straight down the middle of the goal constantly inviting the opposition to score. Every single game. It's a joke that our coaching team haven't picked up on it. Seriously watch back on his games with us, almost every game he makes the ultimate goalkeeping sin.

Until he eradicates this simple, basic error in terms of goalkeeping then he ain't gonna be reliable. Not to mention his size and fear of a cross.

I was listening to a football podcast this week and the people on were talking about United. They were pontificating on whether it was a good or bad thing that de Gea was comfortably United’s best and most important player or whether having a goalkeeper as your standout performer was a sign of deeper issues within the team. When you notice a keeper a lot it’s generally a sign that things ahead of him aren’t going so well.

I guess what I’m trying to say is I like Pickford. But Christ it’s a sad state of affairs when he’s one of our best passers of the ball. He’ll probably get player of the season as well, as for the most part he’s been good. Just have to sort out the other ten positions for next year.

The idea he is a good kicker of the ball is a myth, if I wallied it 10000x a game I'd get one to feet.

Some of the gatekeeping from people in this thread is hilarious - sorry lads but he's not had one stand out game at any point all season. I will remember him for picking up the ball from the back of the net.
