He should at least inject a bit of light comedy into his misogynist ramblings by bringing back the faux French accent.

This, he has had the opportunity to change peoples opinion of him but all he has done is confirm what many thought of him and thats an absolute tit.He just keeps digging a bigger hole for himself with this when you go on twitter, its quite astonishing to read some of it.
100% know the type mate. Used to know plenty when I was a kid so not surprised. Just horrible horrible people and those don't really change. They just get older.
Maybe you should be aware of what he said before posting then.No idea what he said, but got the gist. I've noticed that male football on free to air tv is largely presented by females now, and female football is almost exclusively presented by females. This seems unbalanced even if what they say is relevant, insightful and knowledgeable.
Relevant though. I'm watching football focus now, first time in several years. 90 odd league clubs that could be discussed in the tiby aurtime the bbc puts aside for the most popular sport in the world, but a lot of time has been spent/wasted watching a female footballer learning to play a piano with an orchestra. I'm sure there's a place for this, but I think the bbc need somebody to explain what the word "focus" means.
I was just about to say to, it’s called Football Focus. Not Men’s football focus. They can still show peoples lives outside of football. If women talking about footy makes you angry you need to have a word with yourselfMaybe you should be aware of what he said before posting then.
Also, I would argue that the societal benefits of making sport as inclusive as possible outweigh my concerns on whether you or joey barton can enjoy football focus more.

Ive not stated an opinion on what he said ... i didn't look - I dismiss him as an aggressive attention seeking loon so I don't want to bother thinking about him.Maybe you should be aware of what he said before posting then.

this could have legs...Ive not stated an opinion on what he said ... i didn't look - I dismiss him as an aggressive attention seeking loon so I don't want to bother thinking about him.
I'm just suggesting where there could be a separate programme, for those interested where these celebrities try to do stuff not related to their day job ... rather than take a slice from one of the few programmes focussing on football, on the national broadcast network. I'd be saying the same if it were Jordan Pickford trying to learn the trombone.
You teaseI have one experience of him, it was not a good one. I'll leave it there
You tease
Just for some clarity as well. The woman learning the piano was the Euros winning captain, Leah Williamson. Pretty sure she’s earned the right to be on Football Focus, even if it is playing the piano.I was just about to say to, it’s called Football Focus. Not Men’s football focus.
